April 20, 2026—Today, the Credit Unions Kids at Heart® (CU Kids at Heart) team will take on America’s oldest and most iconic annual marathon, the Boston Marathon, for the 27th consecutive year.
Founded by EasCorp and a group of member credit unions in 1996, CU Kids at Heart raises funds for research into pediatric neurological disorders. The organization channels that mission through a team of runners who receive charity bibs to run on behalf of Boston Children’s Hospital.
Each runner is paired with a Boston Children’s Hospital Patient Partner—children and families who have courageously faced these illnesses and have received care at the hospital. It’s a partnership that inspires every mile.
This year’s team features eight dedicated runners, including employees from EasCorp and the foundation’s Participating Credit Unions and research investigators whose work is funded, in part, by CU Kids at Heart.
